Mental well-being can be described as a combination of how we feel (our emotions and life satisfaction) and how we function (relationships with others, personal control, purpose in life and independence)

It generally relates to enjoyment of life, having the ability having the ability to cope with and bounce back from stress and sadness, and fulfilment of goals and potentialand a sense of connecting to others.

WAYS TO MENTAL WELL-BEING

1. Have positive relationships

2. Make your life purposeful and meaningful

3. Have a sense of accomplishment

4. Give to others

5. Pay attention to the present moment (mindfulness)
