Dear esteemed Parents,

𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨: 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙈𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨

We write to notify our esteemed parents of the punitive measures put in place by the school management to curb the excesses of the students in the school.

It is part of our effort to sensitize all parents to the college positions on students' behaviour management. Part of our sensitization effort, which was collectively agreed upon by authorities, is the monthly dissemination of reports on offences committed in the school and the punitive action(s) taken by the management.

Kindly note that this decision is aimed at soliciting parents' cooperation to correct these excesses.

We present below some cases of indiscipline which were reported, investigated and thoroughly reviewed in the month of May 2022 and the punitive actions taken by the school management.

1. Three of our SS2 students who participated in the leadership training recently organized by the school were caught with mobile phones despite all the counselling and warnings against such violations. It is a gross violation of the school rules and regulations. The students were therefore suspended for one week, aside from other punishment within the school.

2. A student brought a bottle of alcoholic wine to the school, despite all the preventive measures put in place to checkmate them before entering the school premises. The student was caught and made to face the school disciplinary committee. It was concluded by the management that the offender be given a two-week suspension while her collaborators were given a one-week suspension each.

3. One of the school drivers was dismissed for aiding and abetting the smuggling of packed food into the hostel late in the night while the student who collected the packed food was expelled from the hostel.

The management is therefore compelled to appeal to all our invaluable parents to always properly check, warn and advise their wards to desist from violating the laid-down rules and regulations in the school.

Be informed that recalcitrant attitudes such as gross violation of rules, rudeness and disobedience will not be tolerated. The school will not hesitate to expel any students who disregard this warning.

𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙩𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙥𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙. 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨.

The school management has resolved to be presenting punitive measures taken by the school on monthly basis.

All efforts on these children will never be an exercise in futility.

Thank you and God bless you. Amen.
